BENEFITS OF FIRE & ICE FACIAL

  • Reduces Fine Lines & Wrinkles
  • Evens Skin Tone & Increases Firmness
  • Provides Deep Cleansing & Clears Pores
  • No Recovery Time

HOW THE FIRE & ICE FACIAL WORKS

Considered a medical-grade treatment, the Fire and Ice Facial is designed to go deeper than most facials, targeting the source of imperfections like wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, and sun-damaged skin and revitalizing one’s complexion at a cellular level. By using a combination of chemical exfoliants, retinol, antioxidants, vitamins, hyaluronic acid, and moisturizers, the Fire and Ice Facial consumes toxins and stimulates the growth of collagen and elastin to produce long-lasting anti-aging effects.
THE FIRE
An intensive resurfacing mask made with glycolic acid (18%), citric acid, lactic acid, malic acid, vitamin B3, retinol, green tea extracts and other powerful antioxidants, the “Fire” portion of the treatment is clinically-formulated to remove the layers of dead, “worn-out looking” skin. Lasting 2-3 minutes, the Fire is mixed with warm cinnamon to maximize the revitalizing effect.
THE ICE
The “Ice” portion of the treatment involves a cool, hydrating mask comprised of hyaluronic acid, Japanese green tea extracts, aloe vera gel, licorice extracts, rosemary extracts, and grape seed extracts. Intended to cool the subtle burning sensation of the Fire and leave skin feeling invigorated, the Ice portion lasts about 5 minutes and smells of soothing peppermints.

THE FINISHING TOUCHES
After the Ice mask is removed, the face is cleansed a final time, then treated with a vitamin-rich moisturizing serum. Although some clients experience a redness or tenderness immediately following the Fire and Ice Facial, most report feeling refreshed and energized. Because the skin will be new—not unlike a baby’s skin—wearing sunscreen is strongly recommended.

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER THE FIRE & ICE FACIAL

After the 30- to 60-minute treatment session, most clients experience a glowing complexion, tighter and firmer-feeling skin, and a noticeable decrease in the appearance of fine lines and other imperfections. Though there is no downtown—clients may resume daily activities, including exercising and wearing makeup, immediately after leaving 7Q Spa—those with more sensitive skin my notice a mild redness immediately following the procedure. The Fire and Ice Facial may be repeated at four-week intervals, and 7Q Spa’s healthcare professionals recommend a total of six treatments to see maximum benefits. Also, as with other intensive exfoliating skin care treatments, clients are strongly encouraged to wear sunscreen after the Fire and Ice Facial treatment; 7Q Spa’s friendly physicians can also recommend other iS Clinical products, such as a mild non-abrasive cleanser, to enhance their treatment at home.
